Cyber Essentials Plus certification follows on from Cyber Essentials but adds additional checks including an on-site technical assessment as well as an external vulnerability scan. 2e-volve have certified staff that will carry out the required checks and provide a comprehensive list of remediations as required.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Certification demonstrates to your client base that you take IT and data security seriously increasing confidence in your organisation and IT practices in use.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?

In 2017 the UK Government identified that seven out of ten large companies identified a security breach or attack. This data was surveys as part of the Government's five-year National Cyber Security Strategy which aims to increase security across UK businesses. The most common attack vector for these breaches were via phishing emails, or opening email attachments, however viruses and malware were still found to be the root cause in many scenarios. Educating staff and providing auditable security frameworks are a huge step in increasing security across your business. On average a small business is 20% likely to take more than a day to recover from a cyber attack leading to loss of revenue. This makes prevention of the attack in the first place a priority and certification a great way to increase protection.

CAN I BE CERTIFIED?

Companies can be certified by completing the required paperwork and remediations found during the assessment process. To qualify for the more advanced Plus level certification get in touch and 2e-volve will guide you through the process.
